Many companies involve employees in decision making policy.


In the changing trends and global phenomena, the employees have become an intrinsic part of the companies. In large industries and companies such as TATA , Reliance , Microsoft and many more, the various decisions are made in such a way that the customers should never feel disheartened and so fulfill their needs from  chosen product. There is a contradictory opinion expressed by people regarding the involvement of employees in decision making process of companies. The above statement seems feasible to me so I will explain my viewpoints in the upcoming paragraphs.

First of all, the world is not the same that of yesterday. The increase of competition  and value of quality brought a change which helps the employees to show their interest in giving suggestions. The companies bother to sell their products in large quantities so that there is an increase in profit margin. Due to the need of much professionalism and covering the target audience in abundance, it is certainly difficult for the top level management to see wha is happening at low or bottom level. So the managers and top authorities always like to involve their educated and well talented employees to give suggestions in building the brand. In this way the employees also feel that they are considered as the part of their organization. So they work with more dedication and devotion and show much efficiency and accuracy in their work. How can we think of increasing and uplifting the wealth of the company of one does not involve highly qualified employees in taking high level decisions? Moreover, it also saves time and money of the companies as it helps to get information from internal sources not from outsourcing.

But there is the other side of the picture too. More involvement of employees in making decisions may create tension and shake the peace and work environment of the business. For example, in companies like Madhuri suzuki, the employees fight and tried to snatch their right from top authority. So in this way the companies may need to close down their right from top authority. So in this way the companies may need to close down their doors and production for few days which affects the profit margin. Probing further,employees have short term thinking which may or may not be suitable but the employees have long vision regarding their company.

In a nutshell, it can be said the involvement of employees in decision making can be considered as highly rewarded experience for the companies only if the precautions and care is taken at every step.
