The illiterate of 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write

In the 21st century, learning is the process through which a person enhances Knowledge and collects information which he would find relevant and accurate.  It is a lifelong progress which goes from cradle to grave. The above otherwise any person without doing this would be considered as illiterate. I totally agree with this and I will explore my viewpoint in upcoming paragraphs.

To begin with , nowadays, things are getting obsolete every single day. In today’s era, experience is valuable but the ability to change with the experience is what is required. Gone are the days when people used to have limited information about anything and info was not highly useful at all, but as the technology is progressing leaps and bounds, the people has no other option to learn and use the learned tactics to explore and enhance in any sector. Learning is a two step forward one step backward process. For example, when the banking system was computerised in India, the employees were reluctant to adapt new changes and went on strike but ultimately they had to learn the new technology.

Probing further, strong visible trend is also seen in software engineering where the technology used are depreciated and replaced in a matter of year or two. Furthermore, many people tend to change their careers after a few years. Therefore, in this Kind of era people tend to change their careers after a few years. Therefore, in this kind of era people needs to keep pace with evolution and adapt by unlearning everything and starting from scratch. Otherwise any person will not be able to match with new technological aspects and revolution of the many new products.

To recapitulate, it can be said that it is the need of an hour to keep up to date with the changing world and learning, as it is only fittest who will survive.
