QUESTION:

  1. An analog signal has a bit rate of 8000 bps and a baud rate of 1000.

Then analog signal has ………….. signal elements and carry ………… data elements in each signal.

EXPLANATION:

write given data in question.

Bit rate is 8000 bps

Baud rate is 1000.

Each signal carries = Bit rate / Baud rate = 8000 / 1000 = 8

Number of signal elements = 2^signal carries = 2^8 = 256.

Answer is 256 and 8
